Government updates explained28 January 2021 (by admin) |
Dear Parents and Carers,
I have outlined below the key information from our Government's updates on education within the last 24 hours:
To confirm the Prime Minister’s announcement yesterday evening, schools will not be returning to full opening following the half term break and the current restrictions will remain in place for a longer period.
The DFE statement published yesterday evening states that the current attendance restrictions will remain in place until 8 March at the earliest. Children of critical workers and vulnerable children will still be able to attend schools. All other pupils will continue to receive high quality remote education at home.
Education attendance restrictions are to be reviewed again in mid-February and the Government has committed to publishing a plan for leaving lockdown by the end of February.
Take care,
Mr Dale Bateman
