Return to School Preparations27 August 2021 (by admin) |
Dear Parents and Carers,
I hope this email finds you well.
With the return to School date approaching (Monday 6th September), I wanted to send you a few reminders, to assist you and your child(ren) in the final preparations for School, that may require a shopping trip or a bit of time to prepare.
Please visit our School website to see an updated academic calendar for 2021-2022. Our last day of the academic year is now July 21st, instead of July 22nd 2022. This alteration has been set by Government legislation.
Autumn term's School meals menus have now been uploaded to our website. Please spend time browsing the menus with your child(ren). This will help them to choose their lunch for the day, each morning, during registration time.
As mentioned in our June/July newsletter, for September return to School, your child will need an empty pencil case and water bottle.
A last reminder for today, don't forget to read our new School Uniform policy. The uniform policy does not include any significant change(s) to the requirements of clothing items, but it does provide important clarifications of what is appropriate with regards to other items such as bags, shoes/trainers and jewellery etc.
Next Friday, the 3rd of September, we will be sending you a final communication letter on last minute preparations, in readiness for Monday 6th September. Items will include: Covid controls that remain for the new term; notice of your child's P.E days (the days each week that they wear full P.E kits for the day); and details of our new drop-off and pick-up system, now that Covid-19 Social distancing restrictions have been removed.
Have a wonderful long weekend.
With kind regards,
Mr Dale Bateman
Headteacher
