Year 6 SATS week - final preparations8 May 2022 (by admin) |
Dear Year 6 Parents/Carers,
As you well know, this coming week is Year 6 SATS, where all Year 6 pupils are tested nationally against standardised tests. Tests taking place are:
• Monday 9 May – English grammar, punctuation and spelling:
o Paper 1: questions
o Paper 2: spelling
• Tuesday 10 May – English reading
• Wednesday 11 May – Mathematics:
o Paper 1: arithmetic
o Paper 2: reasoning
• Thursday 12 May – Mathematics Paper 3: reasoning
Please make sure that, your child is at school on time each day; that they have eaten breakfast each morning; and that they've gone to bed each night at a time where they feel refreshed each morning waking up.
The school will be providing breakfast snacks each morning to any child who has not eaten at home. No child should go into a SATS test hungry. We will also be providing a healthy snack to all children on Wednesday between the two scheduled mathematics tests.
