Dear Parents/Carers,
On the 25th January, I wrote to you detailing the four possible NEU teacher strike days. Tomorrow, Wednesday 1st March, is the second planned NEU Strike Day - this is a regional strike day, so other areas of the country may be striking at different times this week.
Our NEU teachers, at this moment in time, have not shared with school leaders, if they intend to strike tomorrow. If I am given any information before the end of today by teachers, then I will of course update you.
So, what does this mean for the school? With a no notice strike, we will be notifying you like last strike day (1st February), at 8.35am tomorrow, via our School Jotter app, confirming if we have any class closures.
Like last strike day, please do plan for your child to attend school on time. However, do make sure you have childcare arrangements in place in case we do have to close your child's class for the day.
For children in Year 6 completing their second day of Bikeability Training, this will continue.
