Dear Reception Parents/Carers,
For our ‘Marvellous Middle’ event for this term’s Learning Journey, we will be having a tiger themed tea party in class on Friday 3rd November. To really make the day special, we would love for the children to come dressed in a tiger themed outfit please.
We do not want to place extra financial burden on families so please do not feel you need to purchase a new dressing up costume- an orange t-shirt with black trousers/skirt or non-uniform will be great.
To celebrate the middle of our learning journey, the children will be baking their own scones and making finger sandwiches to share with the class. We will be having our tea party in the afternoon so normal lunch time routines will be followed. Please note, we will continue to play outside so sensible school shoes and waterproof coats will be required.
We hope that the children will have lots of fun celebrating their first learning journey in school.
