Good afternoon families,
The BBC are running a 500-word story competition for all children aged 5-11 and we would love for some of our pupils to get involved! The aim is for children to write an independent, unique story about something that interests them.
Children are in for the chance of winning books for themselves, gift cards plus 500 books for the school library!
It would be great if your child wants to take part to help enthuse a love or writing and help them practise their skills at home. If your child wants to get involved, you can follow the link below for all the details about the competition.
Submissions can be emailed to the office (if typed), or brought in as a handwritten copy. They will then be passed to Miss Nicholson who will submit on behalf of the children.
The deadline for entries to get to Miss Nicholson is Tuesday 5th November - meaning you have half term to complete them if needed!
