Dear Parents and Carers,
We regularly hold Eucharist services as part of our Collective Worship cycle. To enable us to organise these efficiently, we would like to keep a note of the children who take communion in their own church and invite them to do so during our school services. Communion is the sacred act of receiving bread and wine from the priest. To receive this in school children will have been confirmed or regularly receive at their own church.
Therefore, please could you complete a permission slip available either from the office or children can collect one from Mrs Gardiner during the day. Please note that, if you give permission, your child will be invited to take part, but the decision will be theirs on the day.
